Quite possibly one of the most beautiful pieces of artwork. It's heartbreaking, and yet warming at the same time.
The details are just PHENOMENAL; from all his clothing and hers, to their features, to even the can and barbed wire, they are stunning. Their positioning is awesome too, it's very realistic.
Much of my family is or was in the military, and some didn't make it back; so it's really incredible to think that they weren't alone. I'll admit that this brought a tear to my eye because it is such a powerful image. Thank you for this unique contribution.
I admire the details you put in it (even in the background and around the soldier), and the feeling of it all...
